Turkey e-Visa Overview
The Turkey (Turkiye) e-Visa is an electronic visa applied for online, available to eligible nationalities for tourism and business travel. It allows a stay of 30 or 90 days per visit depending on your nationality, with single or multiple entry, and is valid for 180 days from the date of issue, subject to current Turkish entry rules. Eligibility is nationality-dependent: some nationalities can apply directly, while others - such as Indian and Pakistani passport holders - must hold a valid US, UK, Ireland or Schengen visa or residence permit to qualify, and from 1 March 2026 a UAE residence visa or Emirates ID alone no longer qualifies these nationalities for the e-Visa. Where a traveller is not eligible for the e-Visa, a Turkey sticker visa applies instead. UAE nationals do not need a visa and can enter Turkey visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period.
